Aselios

About Aselios

Built by operators. Designed for operators.

Aselios was created by a senior F&B leader still in active practice — with 25+ years operating and consulting across Asia, the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe.

Across these markets, the same patterns repeat: menus misaligned with positioning, concepts strong in theory but brittle in execution, hotel F&B ecosystems punching below the room business, online presence that fails to convert real interest.

The problem is rarely lack of expertise. It is lack of structured, honest, rapid diagnosis.

Consulting engagements are long, expensive, and often arrive with conclusions the operator already suspected. Data platforms are rich but unopinionated — they surface numbers, not decisions. Between the two lies a gap: the operator who knows something is off, wants a thoughtful outside read, and needs it in days rather than months.

Aselios exists to close that gap.

Four specialised agents. One operator-grade methodology. Actionable intelligence in days, not months.

Our analytical lens

Each and every venue we audit is defined as belonging to one of these 3 categories we designed:

Category A — Destination venues

Signature, concept-driven venues that draw guests on their own merit. Often media-covered, typically €€€–€€€€, with a clear independent identity beyond the hotel or host. Think named-chef restaurants, rooftop bars that become city landmarks, members' clubs.

Category B — Concept-driven secondary venues

Solid standalone-like venues with moderate independent draw. Mid-scale pricing, recognisable positioning, professional execution but without the destination pull of Category A. The workhorse of most F&B programmes.

Category C — Captive and utility venues

Dependent venues such as all-day dining restaurants, classic lobby bars, pool bars, grab-and-go counters, etc. Typically €–€€, limited independent identity, serving a captive audience rather than drawing one. Essential for operations, often overlooked in positioning.

What we believe

Speed matters. A three-week audit produces conclusions the operator has already rationalised away. Aselios delivers in minutes to days, so the findings arrive while the operator is still curious.

Price accessibility matters. The audits most worth running are the ones operators second-guess because of cost. We priced Aselios so the decision to commission is easy — €49 to €199 single audits, with bundle discounts for operators running multiple venues.

Structure matters. Every Aselios output follows the same discipline: observation → evidence → impact → recommendation. No rambling narrative. Every point is actionable.

Venue category matters. A Category A destination requires different scoring lens than a Category C lobby bar. Applying the same analytical lens to both produces misleading conclusions. Getting the category right is the first discipline of every audit.
